An accessory for Pokémon GO,

what will they come up with next? Do you really need one to enjoy playing the game, or is it just an accessory? In our previous post, we touched on our love for the amazing Pokémon GO App, now we shall dive into the accessory you see on our wrist. Pokémon GO Plus, beyond being a “fashion statement” it serves a purpose.

 

What does Pokémon GO Plus do?

Tracking your movement and counting the kilometers you walk,(super effective in hatching those eggs)

It can collect items from pokéstops (no more missed moments)

you can catch pokémon without having to pull out your phone / open the app.(super fun if by chance you are the one driving )

Once you’ve paired the Plus device with your Pokémon Go app, simply leave the app running in the background.

How does it work?

This device, which we choose to wear on our wrist, uses bluetooth technology to sync with your smart phone. It was released in Summer, 2016 and quickly sold out, luckily you can now find it at Amazon  Manufactured by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company has made sure it is good supply now.  Powered by a CR2032 battery which was a concern to us at first,  has proven to be low draining, reliving that fear we had.  So in the simplest of terms, Pokémon GO Plus runs your Pokémon GO without you needing to touch your screen, it’s a hands free way to play the game!!

 

Do I need a Pokémon GO Plus?

Need is such a strong word. I believe it just adds more to the overall feel of the game experience, as well a a nifty fashion statement. My boys love having it on their wrist, as it shows the world their love of Pokémon.
